Meal Service Pricing – Winter 2010:
Pricing includes a personal review of your dietary and nutritional requirement, menu planning, grocery shopping (typically 3 – 6 stores to get the best quality and prices, more for specialty items), cooking in your home, and packaging, food labeling, storing meals in your refrigerator or freezer and clean up.
Food Cost Estimates:
Estimates are provided to help aide in understanding the possible total cost of the service. Actual food cost is dependent on complexity of the menu, number of ingredients and portion size provided. These estimates may or may not accurately reflect your costs.
20 Meal Service = $265.00 + Food Cost:
5 Entrees + side dish* X 4 serving of each entree = 20 meals. This plan is perfect for busy families, working couples and singles, provides the BEST value and 1 week, 2 weeks and 4 – 6 weeks worth of meals respectively. Some meals may need to be frozen.

Conventional: $130.00 to $180.00
Organic: $175.00 - $240.00
Vegetarian: $80.00 - $140.00
10 Meal Service = $240.00 + Food Cost:
5 Entrees + side dish* X 2 serving = 10 meals which is ideal for couples that want a weekly service and may not want to freeze any meals.
Food Cost Estimates:
Conventional: $75.00 to $110.00
Organic: $100.00 - $160.00
Vegetarian: $50.00 - $80.00
6 Meal Service = $220.00 + Food Cost:
3 Entrees + side dish* X 2 serving = 6 meals. This is a great way to experience the service or just for a change from cooking everyday.
Food Cost Estimates:
Conventional: $50.00 to $80.
Organic: $75.00 - $135.00
Vegetarian: $40.00 - $75.00
*Notes:
~ Side-dishes are “as appropriate”, for example some entrées such as soups, stews and pasta dishes
would not come with a side dish.
~ Meals are packaged in single, double or family size servings.
~ The number of entrées may be negotiated to create a custom meal service plan.
Additional Fees & Charges: + Waved for this Promotion +
- Extra Servings - $12 per serving: For larger families of 5, 6 or more or if you know you will have dinner guests that week and don’t want to cook.
- Extra Side dishes - $6.00 per serving: For client who may want more then one side dish.
- Container Fee - $20.00 - $35.00 per service: For disposable containers and is based on the actual cost of the containers. If desired a Glass / Corning ware / Pyrex / Rubbermaid alternative is available at the clients expense.
- Pantry Fee - $15.00 per service is charged to help offset the cost of pantry items such as dried herbs & spices, oils, vinegars, sugar, eggs, flour, etc. If an exotic spice or all organic spices are required they will be charged at actual cost + pantry fee.
- Fuel Charge - $.50 per mile in excess of 60 mile round trip.
Discounts:
I offer a $20.00 discount per service for clients able to commit and schedule 6 cook dates in advance. There are also other discounts available, ask about a BNI discount or referral discount.
Payment:
~ Payment for your first service is due in full in advance when your date is determined.
~ Payment for an additional service is due in full the day of the service.
~ Payment can be made in CASH or Personal Check. Checks payable to Cosmopolitan Delight's LLC
